Global Challenges Facing Alberta and Albertans:
As
an outward looking province, Alberta's economy has long been dependent
on the ebb and flow of global trade and the economic fortunes of our
trading partners.
Alberta has performed well...certainly within Canada, but also in global
terms.
In
order for us to continue to prosper, we need to embrace certain global
economic realities.
What are these realities?

rapid pace of economic change,

emergence of new global players,

increasing interconnectivity of trading
partners.
But…have Canadians come to terms with these realities?
